Google Docs Reflection
I really believe that this class was great. I was able to look at how creative peoples ideas were. I thought in the beginning of the semester that this was going to be hard to incorporate in the classroom. After seeing how easy it was I really wish i could have done more of these lessons. I really look forward to student teaching in the fall. You can bet your money that I will use google docs for the rest of my teaching career.
Cause and Effect
Today I finished last lesson of the semester. Its been long and tough but now I'm glad its over. Since I was under a short amount of time I wanted to do a lesson that has a video that I am in. Kinda of like a blues clues/ Dora the explored idea. This is the power point of myself asking student what they thought about what cause and effect really means. I also hit vocabulary words. The student really enjoyed the fact that I was instructing them on the wall even though I was right next to them. They loved the fact that I was also joking around with them. Here is my Tie plan that I turned in to my professor. I hope this helps out anyone who is interested in doing a technology version of cause and effect. Props to Dr. Elwood for this great idea. Also I realized that my video would not play on the power point, so i added the video here.

Thoughts before my last lesson....
Im thinking about incorporating a video lesson with a google doc for my second grade class. I really want to make it simple and effective. At the same time I do not want to over simplify it. The lesson I want to do is over cause and effect. I also want to read question and have time for the students to answer them via computer.

Voice Threads
Voice threads was something I found very useful in my workshop. The way I would like to implement it in my classroom is having the children break up into groups and have them hear themselves while they work out their questions or even maybe I can work out problems myself and they see how I work them out. It stills seems a little hard but i'm sure i can figure it out on my day off from field basing.
Google Docs
This past week was the first time that I saw how google docs work. I think its pretty amazing because its seems to be like an additional hard drive that you don't have to carry around. More importantly their are many things you can do with it. What I found pretty interesting is that our professor Dr. Elwood who uses google docs consistently finds new uses for it. I really look forward to working with this program inside my classroom.

Blog Entry 1
Using blogs can help students when working on certain subject areas that were taught that day or a few weeks back. The teachers' reflection on a subject can help students with understanding and comprehension. The student has to build on that with their own knowledge of the subject.
